Struggling to keep up…

We are doing our best, but maintaining the site and just surviving are sometimes too much to juggle. We’ll explain why in a moment. In the meantime, here’s what has been going on over the past two weeks since we last posted: Wyoming, Colorado, Utah and Idaho continue to see limited activity, as have Alaska, and Louisiana; there has been some minor activity in Georgia and Grenada as well. Northern Scotland, and Ontario Canada have been very active, as has Germany. Austria has now been added to the list of countries affected as well.

Here at ground zero, it has been quite grim. We’ve been overrun three times in the last two weeks. The suburban Maryland government research facility where this all started was slowly recovering and getting back on-line, and containment there was locked down tight, however, they have suffered another breach. A new wave of ZTBs is on the loose, last we knew they were in the Westminster, Maryland area and headed west. Many of the locals are saying that this is a direct result of the government shutdown, as many of the folks at the research facility were considered “non-essential.” Certainly, response from the CDC, FEMA and federal law enforcement has been slow to non-existent. A disturbing turn of events, which is of grave concern to all of us.
