Plague continues to spread….

Since our last update on 25 July a lot has happened. ZTBs have been spotted in three new countries, Scotland, Sweden and Finland. The Brandenburg area of Germany has seen significant activity, as has Andalucia, Spain. Two new states have been affected in the U.S., Michigan and New York. Kantucky and the Louisiana/Arkansas border continue to be hot spots. Maryland and Pennsylvania continue to suffer. It is looking grim folks.

Two new countries affected!

In the past five days, tow new countries have been affected, both Grenada and England have had a documented ZTB incident. There has also been new activity in northwestern Pennsylvania near Erie, and a significant amount of activity in northwestern Kentucky. Out west, both Utah and Colorado have seen some new infections, with Colorado being affected from a ZTB that moved in from Texas. Our ZTBs seem to be able to travel great distances with ease, as Patient # 24, one of the most active, has returned to Alberta, Canada from the east coast of the U.S., and one of our newer ZTBs, Patient # 36 – Sara has left the western shores of the Chesapeake Bay in maryland (where there has been much activity of late) and landed near Portsmouth, England. In other news, another ZTB has left Maryland for Pennsylvania, and one has moved from Arkansas into northern Louisiana. Keep low and quiet out there cachers, you never know what is lurking near that next hide!

Havoc continues

Patient # 24, Diego continues to distribute the plague in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania environs. He seems to be a particularly virulent ZTB. We were saddened to learn that Patient # 23, Quincy has visited Brigham City’s water department in Utah. This can’t be good….

There was also an outbreak at the Maryland Geocaching Society event in Southern Maryland, at which 5 new never before seen ZTBs emerged. Maryland is a mess. Arkansas, Indiana, Wyoming and Germany continue to see significant activity. Rumor has it there is a ZTB headed for Scotland. Be careful out there folks!

Sad news continues…

The plague is in thirty states now. Louisiana, Indiana, Texas, and Georgia are now infected. It is slowly spreading in Germany, with two new states affected. Rumor has it there is another ZTB headed for Spain, as if Andalucia has not suffered enough already. Kentucky seems to be particularly susceptible, as does Alberta, Canada. When will it end?

6 weeks of mayhem

Sadly, we’ve been unable to update the status here for some time. Surely you know why. The plague spreads, and conditions worsen. We had to re-locate ZTB Tracking HQ twice in the last 6 weeks. We lost 45% of our staff. But you don’t need to hear our whining, we’re sure you have troubles of your own. Anyway, here’;s all the new news from the last six weeks:

The international spread continues, two new areas of Canada (Alberta and Nova Scotia) were affected. One ZTB moved from Germany to Andalucia, Spain, and a new one was discovered in Germany. Two showed up in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Here in the U.S.A, a number of new states were affected: Ohio, Arkansas, Wyoming, and a trail of terror in the southeast, affecting both of the Carolinas, Tennessee and Kentucky.

We believe that two of the patients we have been tracking may have disappeared for good.

Hang in there and keep your baseball bat close.
